The T20 event final encounter saw Edo batting first but for the first time in the competition, Edo batsmen were taken out in a rather quick sessions. This put pleasure on Kaduna captain, Sylvester Okpe while his rival, Peter Aho was under pressure to deliver 4th finals victory against Kaduna in recent Cricket history. Isaac Okpe brothers, and Danladi all went for the opportunity to revenge Edo previous history of winning them at four different finals. Edo camp was very quiet as they are allien to defeat especially in a cricket finals. "We were unlucky, they played better and batted well. I think if we had scored more runs we could have had the opportunity of winning today." Said Peter Aho captain of Edo State Male Cricket team. For the NCF president side, Kaduna there was at last a reason to smile. They broke the jinx on Edo grass wicket. "We thank God for the victory. It was actually a team work and we played to enjoy ourselves today. Victory started when we saw the pressure on Edo guys. We just know if we continue like that we will prevail. We did. Edo are really a good guys but today wasn't their day." Said excited captain of Kaduna State and Nigeria U19 team Isaac Okpe. The junior Okpe was also the match MVP.
